woke up and w{ish}ed that i was dead*

you can't tell from my attitude while in my figure drawing class, or even from the quality (or rather the lack thereof) of my figure drawings, but i love figure drawing. maybe it would be more accurate to say that i lust after figure drawing, because heaven knows i would love to be able to do it like this guy...

enter ryan woodward. an animation professor at my university. and an amazing artist. he's worked on lots of movies including the iron giant, where the wild things are, and iron man. cool.

but today in my figure drawing class a classmate showed us this animation he put together. oh how i wish you could watch the whole thing instead of this incredibly short clip because it is the definition of beauty. someday, when the full version is released, you'll understand what i mean. until then, watch this...
