book{ish}

um, so hi. it's me. the owner of this often absent blog. but i'm going to try and change that. for today.

as i mentioned in my last post, britt tagged me. a millennium ago. and so, miracle of miracles, i'm finally going to answer her. because i like her. yes oh yes.

some of the questions are harder for me than others, so i'm going to answer in the order of my own pleasing. which means, first up is:

"what's the next book you're actually going to
read? no textbooks."

well that is an excellent question. to sidetrack, many of you know that i commute to provo for school. it isn't a terrible drive, only about an hour, but that is a considerable amount of time that passes. time to, say, read a book. well, listen to a book. (i do not endorse reading and driving.)

i have listened to three books so far:

the guernsey literary and potato peel society

flipped
and

extremely loud and incredibly close
i enjoyed all of these. thoroughly. they were all very, very, very different from each other. and that is why, in answer to this question, i do not know what to read next. these are some of my ideas. maybe you can help me choose?

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series

Sense and Sensibility

Les Miserables

i also take suggestions! but fyi, i do judge a book by its cover. at first. what can i say? i'm an artist.

If you like Harry Potter, you'll enjoy the Percy Jackson books. But don't watch the movie-- it just cannot match up. LOVE

I'm totally reading the Harry Potter series over the summer. SO excited for that... I just need a good story.

hi hil. yes, i'm blog stalking!

anyway- i love percy jackson books. they are fun and entertaining, perfect action to listen to while driving. i think that the other two suggestions are excellent, but better when actually read and not listened to. there is my two cents.

oh and by the way, lyvia still talks about her friend "hiwlary"! thanks!
